Lori's On The News

I have had many opportunities to try the newest technological equipment developed to help stroke survivors at my therapy clinic, SWAN Rehab.  One therapeutic device I still wear today is called a Ness L300.  It is a stimulation device that helps stimulate the right muscles when I am walking so I can walk steadier and with better quality.  I had the opportunity to do a news clip on Channel 15 explaining how the L300 works.

Our 10th Anniversary Celebration

                        

As we fast forward, we come to our 10th wedding anniversary celebration in Nassau, Bahamas, which was where went for our honeymoon.  This was a special trip for several reasons.  We were celebrating our anniversary, it was Lor's first trip out of country since her stroke, we walked on sand for the first time, and we began talking about starting a family through adoption.  As we walked around the hotel with all of the kids running around, we wondered if this is what our future would look like.  Dainis has two years of school left so we will have to wait and see.
